Ligue1 Top-Scorer offered to the Premiership for just £21m

According to the Daily Telegraph talks between Ligue 1 top-scorer Alexandre Lacazette and Lyon over a new contract have broken down with the French club willing to sell him to a Premiership side for £21 million.

This news will of course delight Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, but will also alert all the other top EPL clubs who watched the 24-year-old score 31 goals in 40 games to help Lyon finish runners up to Paris Saint-Germain and qualify for Champions League football next season.

Lacazette’s agent David Venditelli has confirmed that he has already received a significant amount of offers and that his client is eager to join a club that will be playing in the Champions League, which could rule out Liverpool, unless the Reds were willing to pay a higher salary than their rivals.
