Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp weighed down with injury worries and a team that is lacking goals has according to ESPN turned his attention to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy ahead of a potential January transfer.

The 28-year-old Englishman has found the back of the net ten times already this season for Claudio Ranieri’s men becoming the Premierships top scorer.

Vardy’s work rate however is much more suited to Jürgen Klopp’s fast pressing game which could have the former Borussia Dortmund man make a move for him in January.

Very much right now however rests on the fate of Daniel Sturridge and whether or not he will be able to play out the rest of the season, and with Klopp already having Christian Benteke, Divock Origi and Danny Ings on the books, it’s hard to imagine the owners sanctioning a move unless Daniel Sturridge is taken out of the equation.
