Juventus to go after Giroud while Wenger looks for a new striker in Ligue 2

According to Italian football website Tuutosport, Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is wanted by Serie A champions Juventus.

The Old Lady of football are thought to be in the market for a new front-man, with Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud being named among the list of targets, alongside PSG’s Edinson Cavani.

Juventus are allegedly to be keen on Giroud because of his proven goals record and they believe that they will be able to prize the Frenchman away from the Emirates with a bid somewhere between £20million and £25million.

Meanwhile according to France Football, via Sports Mole Arsenal are lining up a move for Ligue 2 star Anthony Koura.

The 22-year-old French international Nimes striker has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs after having scored nine goals so far this season in Ligue 2 and could be had for a bargain £1.5 million.

A bid of over £20 million for Giroud would be hard for Wenger not to accept, and the 66-year-olds love of what he calls value in the market would make Koura a sound buy, as Arsenal PLC continues business as usual.
