Claudio Marchisio has denied any contact from Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United as he undergoes contract talks with his current club Juventus according to the Daily Express.
The 28-year-old midfielder has been linked heavily to a summer move to the Premiership, yet he publically states there has been no contact and that he remains committed to Serie A leaders Juventus.
When speaking about the English interest in him Marchisio said: “Sometimes I have received phone calls from agents who told me of the interest of clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.
“But no one from these clubs, however, has never contacted directly us. And in case I would tell them to talk to Juve.”
The Italian still has a couple of year to run on his current contract with the Turin giants that has his agent/father Stefano saying: “I’ve read that the renewal should be imminent, but Claudio is focused on the season and doesn’t think about the contract,” he said.
“The current agreement expires in 2016 and there is time for talk about it.”
