Montenegrin international Stevan Jovetic has hit out at Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, claiming that he was not the only player who had a problem with the Chilean manger.
Since arriving at the Etihad from Fiorentina a couple of seasons ago, the 25-year-old forward made just 28 Premier League appearances for City, and is happy to have now moved on completing an 18-month loan deal with Roberto Mancini’s Inter Milan.
Jovetic’s biggest gripe was that even when he was on top-form Pellegrini refused to play him.
‘I had problems at Manchester City, but I wasn’t the only one,’ Jovetic was quoted as saying in Mediaset Premium.
‘Even when I was in good shape, the coach never let me play.’
