JOSE MOURINHO is set to snub Roman Abramovich and sign a new Real Madrid deal — worth a staggering £10million a year after tax.

Jose no to Rom

Spanish champions Real moved quickly to see off the Chelsea owner’s attempts to lure Mourinho back to Stamford Bridge.

President Florentino Perez has offered a new £190,000-a-week three-year contract to keep the ex-Blues boss until 2015.

Mourinho is expected to sign any day now.

A top Bernabeu source revealed: “We are very, very close to clinching an agreement.

“Talks have gone extremely well and Jose now has the new contract and we are just waiting for him to sign.”

The deal is reward for Mourinho’s success this term, winning La Liga ahead of Barcelona with two games to spare.

It was Real’s first crown since 2008, making The Special One the first boss to clinch titles in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain.

Mourinho acknowledged his achievement by dubbing himself ‘The Only One’.

Losing to Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi is key to him delaying a Premier League return.

He wants to be the manager to win Real’s first European Cup since 2002.
