Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has received a six-month driving ban after having been caught by a speed camera driving 60mph in a 50mph zone.

The incident happened on the A3 Esher bypass, in Surrey, in September 2014, and with the Portuguese manager already having nine-points on his licence from previous offences, a judge at Staines Magistrates’ Court ordered him banned for six-months.

Mourinho meanwhile pleaded guilty to the offence by post and along with the driving ban had to pay a £750 fine as well as a £75 surcharge and £85 court costs.

Perhaps the 52-year-old will get used to being driven around by other people, and knowing how he makes millions a year perhaps can feel good about giving someone a job.
