Italian strikers could find themselves in the Premiership

Since Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente have arrived in Turin Juventus now find themselves in a position where they may have to unload a couple of strikers.

Beppe Marotta the clubs general manager has confirmed that he expects to see two strikers leave before the start of the season with Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri the two most likely candidates.

Mirko Vucinic and Sebastian Giovinco are the other two strikers in the Italian team falling higher up the pecking order so will probably stay.

“I don’t want to make names, but we have six strikers and we’ll keep only four of them,” Marotta told Sky Sports Italia.

Norwich has said already that they would be interested in Quagliarella, but where Matri could end up is anyone’s guess.
