Mario Balotelli has quelled the rumours of him returning to play in Italy by committing his future to Manchester City.

Italian star player pledges to City

The unpredictable 21-year-old Italian striker has been rumoured to be on his way back to play in Serie A following his antics both on, and off the pitch.
Balotelli admits that he loves life in Italy, but this will not take him away from the Etihad. When asked about the rumours Mario said: “I love Italy but I will stay at City,”
“The Premier League is the highest level for a player, and is a league I enjoy.”
The former Inter Milan player came off the bench late to feature in City’s dramatic win by setting up the goal for teammate Sergio Aguero’s late goal assuring City the Premiership title on the last day of the season.
Balotelli has been picked to play for Italy in next month’s Euro finals. When asked if he was looking forward to the trip to the Ukraine, and Poland Balotelli said: “It is a dream come true. The European Championship, together with the World Cup, is the most important competitions, and I promise that in Poland and Ukraine I will behave,” he said.
“I cannot wait for it to start. I will give my best for the team and try to give satisfaction to the Italian people. We will be the revelation of the tournament.”
