The soccer season is about to be over, which means that the rumor mills are churning with all sorts of potential moves by players and coaches. Since we won’t be having any lines for soccer for a while, it’s time to take a look at some of the rumors we have been hearing.

According to reports, Juventus is planning on snagging a few players during the summer transfers, and one of the names linked to the Italian champions is Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez, who was inconsistent in his second season with the Gunners, stoked the flames of the rumor mills when he stormed off the field after being substituted in a game against Norwich.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was obviously upset by the disrespect shown by the Chilean superstar, and might be willing to move him if the price is right. While Juventus manager Giuseppe Marotta did not directly admit the team would go after Sanchez, he did say it was nice that players like Sanchez are interested in Juventus.

Another Arsenal player rumored to be on his way out is forward Theo Walcott, who has been drawing a lot of interest from West Ham. The Hammers have been improving in recent years and feel they are one or two good players from contending for the Premier League title, so the addition of Walcott makes sense.

Since Walcott never lived up to his potential while he played for Arsenal, the move could be just what the doctor ordered for both sides.

The Hammers don’t intend to stop with Walcott, according to reports, they are also interested in signing Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi, although they will have a tough time doing so because teams like Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in Icardi.

West Ham is also rumored to be interested in a Ligue 1 player, and rumors have it the player is Marseilles player Michy Batshuayi. Unfortunately for the Hammers, they will have to compete with Tottenham and Juventus for his services.

Christian Benteke and Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony are also said to be high profile transfer targets this summer.

One player everyone is waiting to find out where he is going to play next season is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has made it clear that he will not be resigning with PSG. There are rumors that he could go back to the Serie A and play for AC Milan, but with Ibrahimovic being so unpredictable, it’s hard to know if the rumors are true or not. I guess we will eventually know when he makes up his mind.

Despite reports to the contrary, John Terry believes he still has what it takes to play for a few more seasons, and hopes he will be able to finish his career with Chelsea, the club he has been with since he was 14. However, the red card he received against Sunderland might have been his last game in a Chelsea uniform because the team is planning to make major changes this summer.

If Chelsea doesn’t bring Terry back, there is a possibility he could play for another Premier League team, but the best bet would be he move to the United States and plays for an MLS team or he goes to China for a last big payday.
