It could be a quick turnaround for Italian striker Mario Balotelli with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini would like to bring the 24-year-old back to the Nerazzurri in a bid to make the team as strong as they were during his first stint at the club where the young Italian played a key role.

Liverpool paid £16 million to AC Milan when they signed Balotelli during the summer, but the Italian international has not lived up to speculations failing to score a single goal in the English Premiership.

Inter will be looking to get Balotelli on a loan deal, but Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers may be forced to keep him until the club has a chance to recoup the best part of their initial investment.
