According to reports coming out of Italy carried by talkSPORT Inter Milan has now joined the two Premiership clubs in the race to sign Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.

The player’s contract is up at the end of the season, meaning he could walk away for free while Marseille would rather get something for him now.

Arsenal and Liverpool have both been monitoring the situation with the 29-year-old, and now Tuttosport is claiming that Inter Milan has entered the ring after having been impressed with the striker’s form this season that has seen him score 15 goals in 22 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.

Marseille meanwhile would rather the former Toulouse man would sign a new deal with them, but are aware they cannot offer the wages that either of the other three could offer.
