INTER MILAN have joined the race for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, according to reports.
Liverpool were thought to be leading the race to sign the 23-year-old, with Chelsea also expressing an interest in the England international.
But the Premier League rivals will now face competition from Italy, with Inter set to step up their efforts to capture the former Southampton star.
Walcott has less than a year remaining on his current contract at Arsenal, with talks stalling on an extended deal.
And with recent signings Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Santi Cazorla likely to challenge the forward for a first-team place, boss Arsene Wenger may offload Walcott this summer.
