England U-21 striker Danny Ings has apparently turned down an offer to join Spurs and opened negotiations with Liverpool over a move to Anfield.
According to the London Evening Standard, the out of contract Burnley striker has rejected an offer to remain at Turf Moor and is expected to announce his move to Liverpool next week.
It would appear as if Liverpool were his first choice all along, and that once the two sides have agreed terms a compensation package for Burnley will be put together.
