arsenal,

It is extremely tough being an Arsenal fan, and even more so when it comes to new signings as we all know Wenger treats the clubs money as if it were his own and does not like spending unless he has to, while also preferring to do his shopping in Lidl rather than Waitrose.

Ok before we get carried away, we have to say that we are more than happy with Petr Cech, and that it just goes to show how important it is to have a goalkeeper of his calibre in the team, and now if we could only get a top-striker to play up front with Sanchez we would have a chance to win the league.

We keep hearing reports about Karim Benzema not happy playing for Rafa Benitez at Real Madrid, and as much as we would like to have the 27-year-old French striker at the Emirates, it is hard to imagine him leaving Madrid to come to England in the dead of winter.

A much more possible January addition could be Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin, after his agent, Kirill Loginov confirmed that his client was the subject of a bid from Arsenal during the summer, but the bid was only to take the 24-year-old on a season-long loan that did not interest the Russian Star.

If Wenger takes a fulltime transfer deal to the table in January the chances are Kokorin may say yes, but even without him and the return of Danny Welbeck to the teams Wenger can probably hang on till next summer with the players he has at present.

One place where Wenger must improve the squad is in defensive-midfield after having bowed down to Manchester United instead of signing Morgan Schneiderlin when he had the chance.

Now the club is totally reliant on Francis Coquelin, and God forbid should the Frenchman get injured without a backup in place the fans can kiss the season goodbye and lay all the blame at the feet of Arsene Wenger, as it will be his fault for not bringing in cover while having plenty of money available to do so.
