The Celta Vigo strikers move to Liverpool is expected to be completed after a delay with the paperwork.
Aspas had an medical at Liverpool’s Melwood training facility on Tuesday, but flew back to Spain the following day with the transfer yet to be completed.
Aspas scored 12 goals in La Liga last season and Liverpool have settled on a fee of £7million.
The striker’s brother and agent, Jonathan Aspas said that he is confident that paperwork delay would not be any problem, and said when speaking on Spanish radio: “There should be no problems. Now only the bureaucratic issues remain unresolved.”
