Most people do not think of Egypt when it comes to football yet the country is as passionate about the sport as anywhere else.
A female television presenter surprised viewers the other night though by reading the evening sports news wearing the jersey of Portugal’s CD Nacional a club lesser known than perhaps Benfica, Porto or Sporting.
Yet it was no coincidence the presenter chose that particular club to support as they have four Egyptian players (Ali Ghazal, Gomaa, Aly Fathy and Ezzat).
The Madeira based club currently sits in 13th spot in the Primeira Liga a whopping 25 points behind leaders Benfica.
