Liverpool’s hopes of signing Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder Alex Teixeira appears to be sliding away as the Ukrainian club says they will not budge on their £50 million valuation of the Brazilian.
The latest word out of Anfield is that the chance of any deal for the 26-year-old being completed today appears “remote”.
