Juventus are close to completing the signing of Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to Fifa agent Ernesto Bronzetti, who believes there is a “70 per cent” chance the move will materialise.
Earlier this month Goal reported the Italian giants had taken a significant step in their pursuit of Higuain by agreeing terms in principle with the 25-year-old.
And Bronzetti says both clubs have now reached an advanced stage of the negotiation process, and he expects a deal to be struck in the coming weeks.
“Percentages for Higuain to Juventus? Let’s say 50-60, maybe even 70%. He has expressed a desire to leave so we will see what happens,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“We spoke with [Juventus CEO Giuseppe] Marotta and [coach Antonio] Conte when they came to Madrid so now we wait and see.
“In early June we will see if the situation has been resolved.”
