As Cristiano Ronaldo turns 30 today people will start to ask how long the footballing superstar can continue performing at the top level, and while we have seen the demise of many greats whose careers went downhill after reaching this milestone Ronaldo appears set to break the trend with his fitness routine and obsession with healthy nutrition.
It is also his hunger to keep on achieving which makes us think that the Read Madrid still has some years left in him and knowing the Portuguese players desire for perfection we are sure that when the time comes he will know to hang up his boots.
The time is not now however, and to prove this point when the Ballon d’Or winner was asked by Sky Sports presenter Kate Abdo to pick out the most important goal of his career the players response was “The next one.”
