Struggling Bundesliga side Hamburg have now put a price on their star midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu telling both Arsenal and Liverpool that they will have to pay out £18 million to sign the Turkish international according to TalkSport.

The 20-year-old has impressed in the German top flight since moving from Karlsruher last summer and has been the one plus point during Hamburg’s poor season scoring eight goals in 24 league appearances for the club.

Despite signing a new contract till 2018 back in February that does not include a buyout clause the club could be forced to sell their prized asset should they become relegated.

Arsenal and Liverpool along with another unnamed Premiership side are said to be interested in the German born player, and by already naming their selling price Hamburg is hoping for a bidding war between the English clubs.
