Still circulating in England over the weekend were rumors that Bayern Munich were interested in David Luiz from Chelsea. These messages are now likely to have done the rounds after Pep Guardiola stepped in to say that it was pure speculation backed up with not truth.
The Bayern coach clearly denied an alleged interest in Chelsea’s triple winning defender David Luiz saying:
“He will not come to Munich. We have four, five defenders that I am very happy with, the speculation is not true,” said the 42-year old Spaniard ahead of the international tournament of Bayern with AC Milan, Manchester City and São Paulo FC.
During the past few days had been reported in England, that Bayern would put in a bid for the 26-year-old Brazilian international which now does not seem to be the case.
