In a news that may have incredible domino effect on Chelsea’s dealing in the transfer window this summer, reports from Spain are claiming the Blues and Atletico Madrid have both reached an agreement that will see Juan Caudrado been sold to Atletico Madrid. The Colombian who is currently on loan at Juventus is surplus to requirement at Chelsea.

Juventus were thought to be the closes to his signature, unfortunately both the Old Lady and the Blues are not able to reach an agreement that would have seen Cuadrado become a Juventus player on a permanent. This development according to Spaniard media out let Don Balon ( via dailystar) will now be utilised by Atletico Madrid as the Spaniard want the Colombian.

The news if true could have a positive domino effect on Chelsea’s transfer business this summer. Already, Chelsea have been linked with the signing of Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and the Atletic also wanting a Chelsea player, it could make it easier for Chelsea to finally sign the Frenchman.

Griezmann was linked with a move to Chelsea last summer but the player instead stayed at the Spain capital club and even signed an extension to his contract but this hasn’t stopped Cheslea from wanting to sign him.

Could this summer finally be the summer Chelsea will sign Griezmann? You should never say never especially as the Griezmann versatile player may think he has won everything he can win with Atletico and try to move to other leagues.

The lure of the Premier League and the opportunity of making more money in England and Chelsea’s wonderful relationship with Atletic could help bring Antoine Griezmann to Chelsea this summer.
