Arsenal could be without star defender Laurent Koscielny for this weekend’s match against Stoke City after the French international was left out of trainer Didier Deschamps team that beat Serbia 2-1 in a friendly last night in Bordeaux with a back injury.
This latest news is yet another blow for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger who left the French international out of the clash with Liverpool due to concerns over his lower back.
Good news however is that Per Mertesacker is fit to return to the team after missing the Liverpool and Newcastle games due to illness and should play alongside Gabriel Paulista at the Emirates on Saturday.
