Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will be delighted to hear the news that Lyon head coach Hubert Fournier has said that Ligue 1 top goal scorer Alexandre Lacazette could be heading for the Stade Gerland exit door.
Lacazette has been linked with a move to either Arsenal or Liverpool, but the Gunners are the favourites following remarks by the 24-year-old saying he only wanted to join a club that was playing in the Champions League next season, which Liverpool are not.
Arsenal fans are anxiously waiting for a new top-striker to arrive at the Emirates, and if Wenger does not sign Lacazette, at least they will know he had the opportunity to do so.
