Former Ajax, Tottenham and Middlesbrough Egyptian forward Ahmed Hossam fondly known as Mido fulfilled his promise yesterday to completely shave off his hair while live on air (Bein Sports) if Leicester go on to win the Premier League at the end of the season.

Mido was recently sacked as a coach by Egyptian club Zamalek and was replaced by Scot man Alex Mcleish who previously managed Aston Villa and Birmingham.

Mido placed the bet early last month believing Leicester would falter in their bid to win the league and would eventually be over-run by his old club Tottenham who appeared to have more high profile players than the Midlands club .

Though Mido placed the bet on air it was believed that it won’t be fulfilled by the former player who is known as an unfulfilled talent after being courted by controversies in his playing time. Fans were shocked as the player turned pundit turned the programme to a hair shaving session, taking his time to throughly shave everything off .

Leicester had won their first English Premier League title last week Monday after Chelsea came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Tottenham in Stamford Bridge, despite being initially tipped for relegation after surviving last seasons relegation by a whisker a few games to the season end.
