We have found the best man to MANAGE Chelsea and it’s not Allegri

Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has been out of the news since being sacked by Real Madrid at the end of last season, but now following reports linking him to the vacant Liverpool job before Jürgen Klopp was appointed Ancelotti now says he is ready to return to football, and would like to manage in the Premiership once more.

“I would like to go back to the Premier League. It is the ideal environment not for football, but for the ‘game’ around football,” he said.

“You can work there with the right amount of pressure and with the necessary detachment and calm. Before I retire, I’d like to have another experience in England.”

He added: “The vacation continues at least until the end of the year, then I’ll start again.

“Where will I go? Where they call me. I will talk, evaluate and then decide. Up until a few weeks ago I was scared someone would call, but now the return is getting closer.

“Unless something strange happens. I am ready to get back on the bike in January.”

When asked which team would be Premier League champions this season the Italian said: “Manchester City because they have the strongest team, they have exceptional quality.”
