Finally A World Class CB? £32m Rated Powerful CB Hints At Manchester United Move

Manchester United surely need to sign a centre back this summer. Last summer, the Red devils were linked to the signing of so many centre backs but ended up signing none of them. This summer, it appears United’s number target for that centre back position is Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels. The high rated world cup winner has always been linked with a move to United and it appears the player himself is beginning to critically think about leaving the Bundesliga which is good news for United.

Reportedly available for £32million, Hummels has also in recent weeks been linked with a move to Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Liverpool in particular were said to be the likeliest to sign him due to the presence of Jurgen Klopp but every object minded person knows that United have a stronger chance of signing Hummels.

The Germany world cup hero has now confirmed all the speculations are beginning to affect him.

‘I’ve set a date [for my decision],’ revealed Hummels.

‘But I’m keeping it to myself.

‘It’s costing me half an hour before bed every night.’

With Phil Jones looking like he will never over come his injury woes and United only having Chris Smalling as the only real centre back at the club, signing Mats Hummels will make a lot of sense.

His experience puts him ahead of the other Manchester United targets such as Kostas Manolas and John Stones.
