Everton REJECTS yet another Chelsea bid yet may still lose the BATTLE

Everton has rejected a second bid of £26 million by Chelsea for 21-year-old defender John Stones.

The Toffee’s had previously knocked back a bid of £20 million from the west London club telling them that the England centre back was not for sale, and that should he become available he would not be sold for less than £34 million.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho sees Stones not only as the perfect replacement for John Terry, but also a way of complying with Premier League rules that state you must have a certain percentage of home grown players in your team.

Everton is well aware of this hence their high valuation knowing that just like Manchester City and Raheem Sterling Chelsea will eventually pay their asking price.
