Chelsea living legend Didier Drogba admits that his teammates are afraid of losing to Spurs on Sunday when the two sides meet at Wembley for the Capital One Cup final.

Chelsea go into the match as favourites , but the last time they played Tottenham in the League Cup final in 2008, Spurs came from behind to win.

The Ivorian has a terrific record with Chelsea in big games after having scored in nine cup finals; however he says he also remembers the times Chelsea lost.

‘When you lose, you always remember it forever, like the one against Manchester United in Moscow or against Tottenham in 2008,’ said the now 36-year-old striker.

‘I have experienced the feeling of losing finals before, so I am scared to lose finals and maybe that is why I give everything.’

Drogba admits he is still hungry for success, and that the team will not be out seeking to get revenge for the loss seven years ago.
‘This one is important because after two years I come back to the club and once again we are in a final, so I would love to win it.

‘There is no feeling of revenge after seven years – they deserved to win that day and I hope that Sunday is going to be different.’
