The Manchester United fans may not be happy with their current position in the League table but they have cause to look forward to the future.

According to reports, Manchester United are set to trigger the release clause of Renato Sanches once the transfer window opens. It was earlier reported this week that the Manchester giant had reached an agreement with Benfica. However, they have gone a step further in securing the deal.

The Daily mail reports that Sanches’s release clause of around £46 million is not stopping this deal since Sir Alex Fergie has reportedly given his approval of the move. The 18-year-old, who is dubbed ‘the Portuguese with most potential since Christiano Ronaldo,’ still manages to get regular game time despite having more experience players like Nicholas Gaitan and Goncalo Guedes in the Portuguese giant midfield.

With the imminent move of ,the soon to be, bosman Michael Carrick, the youngster cold slot into United’s central midfield, giving Morgan Schneiderlin and Marouane Fellaini a run for their money, which certainly bodes well for the future.

A caveat to the player’s arrival is that he may not be played if the reported incoming manager Jose Mourinho joins the club, as it is customary for him to loan such signings back to their former clubs even after the highly-rated youngster arrived for top dollar.
