Manchester United must sack LVG if they lose to Manchester City

Manchester United only recently completed the signing of USA youth international Matthew Olosunde after beating Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham to the signing of the Nigerian/American. This development has left United’s head of academy Nicky Butt excited. The former England international claims he is excited to see the youngster continue his development at the club.

Matthew Olosunde made his debut in Manchester United colours for the under-18s against Brighton & Hove Albion and his performance in the match has given Butt the believe that United have got a real talented star in their hands.

Speaking about the potential of the youngster, Butt reveals how athletic he was at Matthew Olosunde’s age and reveals it is good news United finally won the race to sign the 18-year-old.

“He’s one that’s been ongoing for a while. With the clearance, it took a while, but we’ve got him,” he said.

“He’s a good player, a nice lad and a really good athlete. Hopefully, we’ll see a lot from him in the coming years because he’s someone we’re really excited about.”

From all indication, Olosunde is a talented player, but it is another ball game if he will ever fulfill his potential but with he in good hands with the likes of Nicky Butt in charge, he has a good chance of fulfilling his potential if he listens to instruction and is level headed.

He has the cases of Rashford and co to learn from and hopefully in 2-3 years time, United fans will be buzzing about him breaking into the first team.
