DONE DEAL: Sergio Romero signs for Manchester United

Argentinian goalkeeper Sergio Romero has reportedly signed for Manchester United after agreeing to a three-year deal that will see the 28-year-old former Sampdoria shot-stopper earn £1.2 million per-season according to La Gazzetta della Sport.

This now surly ends any chance of former Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes from reconciling with United boss Louis van Gaal, and almost certainly means the 33-year-old will be leaving Manchester after having only just joined the club in January.
