Arsenal have confirmed the signing of an highly-rated youngster to a new contract. The club have taken to their official website to announce that Vlad Dragomir has signed his first professional contract with the club. This comes as a reward for his first-rate performances for the club.

He features exclusively for the U-18 side where he continues to impress Coach Frans De Kat and his subordinates. On a national level, he has earned rave reviews for his dogged performances for Romania where he sometimes plays as a striker when called upon.
The versatile youngster despite being a natural in the no. 10 role can play from both wings and also in the central midfield. He was among the youngsters who got the opportunity to train with the squad in November last year, and that goes to show the level of faith Wenger has in him.
