DONE DEAL: Manchester United sign Matteo Darmian

 

Manchester United has completed the of signing Torino defender Matteo Darmian after the 25-year-old agreed to join the Red Devils on a four-year contract.


Manchester United had already settled their business with Torino, with both sides agreeing on a transfer fee of £12.7 million according to sources at Sky, which could rise to £14.4 million if built in incentives are achieved.


All that is left to sort out is how much money needs to go to AC Milan for developing the player who was with them from 2001 to 2010 with a fixed 5% the norm meaning AC Milan will receive £287,000.


This is a great deal being done by United, and providing Darmian adjusts to the Premiership the Italian international could prove be one of this summer’s best buys.
