According to a report by daily express, Manchester United and the representatives of Marcus Rashford have reach an agreement on the terms of new contract. The deal according to Express is worth 10 times more than his current deal. Rashford has been one of the positive things that has happened to United this season.

Louis Van Gaal was forced to call up Rashford to the first team when Wayne Rooney was injured last year and the youngster has since then been a regular feature in United’s team. In his debut match for United’s senior team, he scored a brace against Midtjylland in the Europa league. He has since gone on to score seven goals in 12 matches for the Red devils.

According to the report, Rashford currently gets a mere £72,000 per year but that will now be increased to £720,000 a year, this increase will however be lower than that of Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira who were reportedly given much bigger deals.

However, with Jose Mourinho reportedly earmarked to replace Louis Van Gaal at the end of the current season, the antecedent of the Portuguese worries a lot United fans. The fear is that the Portuguese may not give United’s youngsters a chance with the first team as he hardly does at all the clubs he has managed.
