Jose Mourinho to dump Manchester United for Real Madrid

Many Manchester United fans who are still in doubts that there are next manager will be Louis Van Gaal now have the words from the mouth of the Portuguese who has now practically confirmed he will be coaching Manchester United.

The former Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Porto manager has always been linked with a move to Old Trafford. Some reports went as far as claiming the two times Champions league winner has reached verbal agreement with Manchester United and he will be replacing Louis Van Gaal as manager at once this season end.

Other reports claim he could be off to Valencia with Peter Lim who is the owner of the Spanish clubside said to be close friends with Jorge Mendes who is Mourinho’s agent and friend.

In what could be taken as a big HINT of where Mourinho’s future lies, the Portuguese has now confirmed he has offers on the table and will certainly be in management once again next season;

Excerpts from his statement are below.

‘I can almost guarantee you that I’ll be back working this summer, I’ve good offers on the table. It’s a matter of thinking, to come to a good decision and finalise it. In the summer, at the end of the season, everyone will know what my next club will be. One thing is certain, my future won’t be at Estoril or Paços, because they’re both having great seasons and won’t change manager. I’ll take my ideas to where they are wanted. I want to be at a place where I’m truly wanted. I want to work at a club with responsibility, in a hard league, where there’re no easy objectives. That doesn’t leave [me] many options’.

If this is not a hint that he will be managing Manchester United, I wonder what else is. He has practically ruled out a move to Valencia saying he wants a to manage a club that will challenge him. With only Valencia said to be interested in him aside the Red Devils, it is safe to assume Mourinho is confirming a move to Old trafford.
