Following Chelsea ‘s elimination for this season Champions League, manager Jose Mourinho is wasting no time getting ready for next year’s campaign after agreeing an £18 million transfer fee with Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk for attacking midfielder Douglas Costa.

The 24-year-old Brazilian has been strongly linked in recent weeks to be a top target of the Blues where he will now play alongside his former Shakhtar colleague and fellow countryman Willian.

Earlier in the year Costa said that he dreamed of playing for Chelsea and just the other week let it be known that he though being able to play under manager Jose Mourinho would allow him to achieve great things in football.

And now according to the Sun, the 24-year-old’s wishes will be granted after he has agreed in principal at least to move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

The Premier League is all Chelsea has to play for now after having already won the Capital One Cup, and while it look to be a certainty we all know that Mourinho really wants to be the first manager to win the Champions League with three different teams, and he is already showing hit intent for next season by lining up Costa.
