Done Deal – Bayern Munich Target Agrees Long Term Arsenal Deal, To Earn £180,000-A-Week

If a report by Football insider is anything to go by, Arsenal manager and Ivan Gazidis seem to both have learnt their lessons in the transfer window. According to football insider website, Mesut Ozil and Arsenal have been locked in negotiation over the terms of a new contract deal and have finally reach an agreement that will see the world cup winner remain at Arsenal till the summer of 2021.

According to the report, the German will now earn as much as £180,000-A-Week plus other performance related bonuses. This will surely be good news for Arsenal fans who must have been scared that they could lose their best players especially with reports linking the former Real Madrid star away from Arsenal. Bayern Munich and Barca have in the last few weeks been linked to the signing of Ozil.

Many were initially scared the German could jilt Arsenal as the Gunners continue to underperform both in the Premier league and in Europe. With Ozil now signing a new deal, it could well mean Wenger has assured him new quality players will be signed for Arsenal to ensure the Gunners continue to do well both in Europe and in the Premier league.

Aside Ozil, Arsenal is also locked in discussion with the agents of Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean reportedly have two years left on this contract after this season and in the last one week has been linked with a move to PSG.
