As far as Manchester United fans are concerned new signing Memphis Depay, who was officially presented to the press and the United faithful today has made all the right noises.
“We have a lot of quality,” said Depay.
“We have all the quality to win the title and all the trophies it’s possible to win.”
The Dutch youngster also spoke of his desire to ignite the crowd, but refused to be compared to United Old Boy Cristiano Ronaldo.
“The crowd like players who get goals,” he added.
“[Ronaldo] is one of the world’s best, but I don’t want to talk too much. I want to show my quality on the pitch.”
Here at ST we cannot wait to see Depay play in the Premiership and hope he turns out to be the star we all think he is.
