JERMAIN DEFOE has ended speculation over his future by signing a new three-year deal at Tottenham.
The striker had been linked with North London rivals Arsenal and Paul Lambert’s Aston Villa.
But Defoe today tweeted: “Fantastic week signed my new contract at spurs & meeting up with England on Monday for 2 important games #goalsgoalsgoals”
The news came just after Tottenham boss Andre-Villas Boas ruled out a move for Marseille forward Loic Remy.
