Bleacher Report via Metro are reporting Arsenal have finally agreed personal terms with Granit Xhaka and could be signing the high rated Switzerland midfielder if both the Gunners and the player’s current club Borussia Monchengladbach are able to reach an agreement on a transfer fee.

German media house BILD had several weeks ago claim Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been talking to the player and his father who also doubles as his agent with a view of bringing him to the Emirates stadium. The director of Borussia Monchengladbach had denied such reports and Xhaka himself claimed no such meeting took place challening whoever claim to be privy to such a meeting to release photo evidence of the said meeting.

However, if Bleacher reports are to be taken seriously, it is either the Borussia Monchengladbach director and Granit Xhaka are lying also Arsenal have since both made the statement had some successful in their attempt to sign the player.

It was earlier reported by daily mirror that Arsenal willing to pay as much as £30million for the player but his club Borussia Monchengladbach want as much as 34 million but despite that, mirror claims Arsenal are confident an agreement will be reached by the European Championship starts.
