According to this morning’s Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo David De Gea’s move to Real Madrid is getting closer as super-agent Jorge Mendes sits down with Los Blanco’s president Florentino Perez to discuss a possible summer move for the Manchester United goalkeeper.

In what appears to be a childish spiteful move Mundo Deportivo claims that Real Madrid wants to get the ball rolling quickly to steal away all the talk of how good Barcelona is after the Catalan giants won this seasons treble (La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League).

As for how much he will cost Real Madrid the price being talked about is between 35€ to 40€ million due to the fact the 24-year-old only has one year remaining on his current contract at Old Trafford.
