Costa Rican youngster Luis Jose Hernandez has agreed to join Manchester United according the media in San Jose, where he plays for Deportivo Saprissa in the nation’s capital.


The now 17-year-old had a trial with Manchester United while David Moyes was at the helm, and has since impressed the club with his development that they decided to take him on board.


The move to the Northwest club was confirmed by his coach Randall Chacon who said: “The information I have is that this boy, Hernandez, is almost certain to be signed by Manchester United.”


Hernandez primarily plays as a left sided winger, but he can also play as a left-back.
