Cissokho to Valenci for 6€ Million

‘I’ve joined a historic club,’ says Cissokho after completing Valencia move.

The French full-back is already impressed with his new club and believes Los Che will prove to be a step forward in his career.

Aly Cissokho says he has joined a “historic club” in Valencia after penning a four-year deal with the Spanish side.

Having lost Jordi Alba to Barcelona during the summer, Mauricio Pellegrino was in the market for a new left-back and his new €6 million signing believes he’s arrived at a club with tradition.

“This is a big step forward in my career. I have arrived at a historic club and I can’t wait to train with the team,” he said at his official unveiling.

“Although football is a business, it is also a passion. That is why it was not difficult to take a cut in salary. In France, any player would love to come to Valencia CF.”

Valencia’s Sporting Director Braulio Vázquez was present for the exhibition and described the club’s new signing as somebody with the necessary attributes to add to an already balanced squad.
