Liverpool has been given the green light to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech according to Metro ,just so long as they pay Chelsea £10 million.

Arsenal were also thought to be interested in the Chelsea veteran, but manager Arsene Wenger quashed those rumours last week when he said: “We don’t necessarily need a new goalkeeper,” Wenger said: “The goalkeepers I have I believe in – Wojciech Szczesny has been very good and David Ospina has done very well.

“You only have to look at his stats.”

There still however remains the question in our minds at least of Mourinho allowing the 32-year-old to join a rival Premiership club, and if he does Liverpool fans can celebrate as he will easily get the start over Simon Mignolet each week, and with his experience be a big help to what is a very young team.
