Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United

Following on from the signing of former Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona the blues are set to once more add to Arsenals misery by signing former Gunner Alex Song despite interest from Manchester United according to reports in this morning’s Daily Express.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in now intent on signing another ex-Arsenal and Barcelona player 26-year-old Cameroonian international Alex Song for £10 million.

Song is yet another Barcelona player that new manager Luis Enrique sees as being surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp, which now has Mourinho eager to snap up the holding midfielder after having seen long-term Chelsea player Frank Lampard leave on a free transfer.

Manchester United has also been tracking Song and will certainly match an offer by Chelsea, but it is the lure of returning to London that will most likely prevail over the Northwest club.

In other Chelsea news John Obi Mikel is being linked to a move to Valencia while Carlo Ancelotti has upped his interest in bringing Ramires to Madrid which also leads to Mourinho looking to add to his midfield should the Brazilian leave.
