Following the negotiations that will see Chelsea defender David Luiz join the French champions for close to £50 million the Daily Mail is reporting in its Monday morning edition that while the Luiz deal was being put together Chelsea were also enquiring about signing attacking PSG winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Jose Mourinho is looking at the 29-year-old as a possible partner for Diego Costa after having let striker Samuel Eto’o leave on a free transfer.
Paris Saint-Germaine has also been showing an interest in Chelsea’s Belgium international Eden Hazard along with 32-year-old goalkeeper Petr Cech after reports that Mourinho was fed up with Hazards attitude and was looking for a way to bring back on loan goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois from Atletico Madrid.
