Chelsea, Real Madrid

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho hopes to wet Real Madrid’s appetite by offering Ramires in part exchange for Croatian midfielder Luka Modric according to the Daily Express.

Real Madrid trainer Carlo Ancelotti knows the Brazilian Ramires well from his time at Stamford Bridge and would like to bring the 27-year-old to Madrid.

The Spanish club tried to up the ante by offering Chelsea Isco and Sami Khedira in part-exchange for Ramires, but now Blues boss Mourinho is going to flip the table by telling Real Madrid that he wants Modric.

Ancelotti will not want to let Modric go, but Mourinho who is a big fan of Modric will do all he can in order to bring him to London, but most likely Real Madrid will remain firm sticking by their original offer.
