It has been no secret ever since Radamel Falcao scored a hat-trick hat for Atlético Madrid as they demolished Chelsea 4-1 in the Uefa Super Cup final in Monaco back in 2013 that owner Roman Abrahamovich has wanted the Colombian striker at Stamford Bridge.

The 28-year-old went on to sign for French Ligue 1 giants Monaco for £51 million, but suffered an injury that has left him angry at team management and has also seen him miss his chance to star for Colombia in the World Cup which has Le10Sport saying that he could very well be looking to leave the Riviera club this summer and that they will not stand in his way should a reasonable offer come in.

Despite the fact Chelsea has all but signed Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid for £32 million Mourinho could still go after Falcao by selling Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and quite possibly Belgium international Romelu Lukaku as well knowing that next season he is going to need a very strong team to beat Manchester City to the Premiership title.
